This entrepreneurial position is an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding start-up company, offering a unique workforce management online SaaS – Software as a Service, to retail businesses, targeting restaurants as a primary market at this time.

The Job

Schedule101 requires professional sales representatives for all regions.  This flexible position will involve travelling around your dedicated area actively seeking new relationships and closing sales with restaurants primarily. The prospects should have a staff of at least 20 people, ideally more, independent franchises, franchisees and groups of stores. The successful candidate will also maintain working relationships with existing clients in the area. When groups cross regions, it’s possible commissions will need to be shared, but this is a good problem to have as the other Agents will drive commissions for you. making it easier to sell into chains due to having references, in, possibly referrals from other regions. We want to build a team: North America first, world soon after and the earn the traction the product deserves. This is a ground floor opportunity. Good people will not only make money but have a career or business opportunity, depending on their aptitudes, strengths and desires. Communication with our head office in Ottawa, Ont., Canada, is essential, so the successful candidate will also be responsible for recording and submitting their daily activity with the CRM, via email, scheduled calls, web sessions etc. This commission-only position is ideal for someone who knows or can learn:

  • the business – their pain, requirements, constraints,

  • the software – features, how to use it, how to demo it and

  • how to sell it.

We are open to people in the industry who know the business, as we are willing to help them learn the other skills. We are also willing to train, even students or fresh grads looking to get into the industry, strengthen the areas where they need help! The ideal candidate would have previous sales experience with an aptitude for generating leads and closing sales. This person will have a pleasant, professional demeanor and be able to communicate effectively with clients and head office. Desired Skills and Experience

  • must have previous sales experience

  • comfortable making cold calls

  • aptitude for creatively generating leads

  • proven ability to negotiate and close sales

  • exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • professional demeanor, articulate and well put-together

  • ability to think on your feet and confidently address client concerns

  • motivated, entrepreneurial and independent

  • must have access to and proficiency with computers (CRM experience is a plus)

  • must have access to reliable transportation

  • must pass criminal background check

  • highly ethical, honest, transparent individuals only with stellar references on their character
